Visiting vessels must give the Lock Keeper at least 36 hours (48 hours preferred) notice of any request to pass the vessel through the lock and, if the Lock Keeper is not available, they must contact East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Infrastructure and Facilities. In the event that the Lock Keeper is unavailable, journey date and time must be sent to East Riding of Yorkshire Council, with at least 36 hours’ notice, by one of the following means:
Please note: For boat movements during weekends, notification needs to be received no later than 13:00 on the Thursday prior to arrival.
