DEFRA and Rural Development Network

LEADER is a small (but vital) part of the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) and the current programme runs from 2014 to 2020.

Defra is overseeing the programme which currently consists of four schemes:

  • Countryside Stewardship

  • Countryside Productivity

  • Growth Programme
